Gluten Free Heirloom Dutch Apple Pie (Thanksgiving)

This is a classic pecan recipe full of rich flavor with toasted pecans in a custardy deep flavored sugar filling in a flakey buttery GLUTEN FREE crust. Usually pecan pies are overly sweet and lacking flavor. For this pie we brown the butter first to give it a deep nutty flavor and pair it with dark brown sugar to enhance the rich molasses flavor. This is a beautiful silky, full of flavor pie that you wont want to miss for the Holidays.

Both sweet and tart cherries with lemon and almond nestled in an all butter crust and crumble topping.
